Crafter In Need

Hello Crafty Friends!  I just saw this on Facebook and thought I would share it with you.  This poor crafter lost everything in a fire. It is very sad. If you have anything in your supplies that you don't need or use anymore send them on to her.  Here is the link to follow:  You and Your Big Dreams: Crafty Friend Needs Help  I am sure even a card would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Make & Take Fun At Convention!

I had so much fun doing the Make & Takes at the convention.  Here is what I got to make:

I made this card at Fun Stampers Journey.  It was a fun card to make! These stamps were available for purchase and were awesome!  They inked up nice and made a perfect impression.  From what I understand Fun Stampers Journey is a fairly new company (so if you have not heard of them that is why). They had some awesome stamp sets and wonderful card samples to look at. I can't wait to see what else they have in the future. I highly recommend checking out their website.

I made this one at B&J's Art Stamps.  This is a brush background technique.  I just love how easy it is to make a beautiful card with this technique.  B&J's Art Stamps had beautiful card samples and lots of stamps, inks, etc. to chose from.  If you have not checked out their website be sure to do so. It is one that you will not want to miss.

This was made at Stamp On It.  For the first time I got to try a Geo-Die! What is a Geo-Die you ask??? Well it is a metal die that can be ran thru the Cuttlebug.  After the die is cut, you fold & tuck the flaps and end up with a beautiful shape that has endless possibilities! It looks so complicated but was so easy to do.  I also tried out an embossing folder (it is the white paper in the background). The embossing folder had music notes on it.  Fun, Fun stuff!  I spent a lot of time at this Make & Take discussing all of the different dies out there (Spellbinders, etc.) and learned a lot. Be sure to check out their website. I know that they will have something that you would like.

If you would like to check out the above mentioned companies just double click on their name and it should link you to the one you clicked on.

Well that's what I got to do at the convention (besides shopping).  I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Convention Fun!

 The treasures I found

This weekend was the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo here in Tucson.  It is annual event that I look forward to every year. The day was perfect!  I met several of the vendors and enjoyed talking about rubber stamping and card making all day! What could be a better way to spend the day??  There were many treasures to be found as you can tell from the above photo. The convention also offered several Make & Takes which I got to do (Can you say TOO FUN!).  Check back tomorrow for the pics of those. Hope you all are having a super Sunday!

Time For A Cupcake

I recently had a cupcake themed birthday party at my house for a friend.  This is the card that I made.  It was super easy to do. I used the Cricut Cartridge Sweet Treats, Sugar & Spice paper pack from The Paper Studio and Sweetest Cupcakes rubber stamp set from My Pink Stamper.  I cut my cupcake at seven inches.  I used Stickles on the candle and gems on the cupcake wrapper.  I hope that everyone is having a great day!  Thanks for stopping by.

Disneyland Memories

Not only do I love to paper craft but I also LOVE anything and everything Disney. On top of it all I love toys.  This weekend is the annual Toy Show here in Tucson.  Each year my brother and I attend.  While going through some old boxes in the garage looking for toys to possibly sell at the show (as if I could part with them)  I found some Disneyland admission tickets and park pamphlet. The Souvenir Guide is from 1990 as is the one day passport (dated July 04, 1990).  The other two "Daisy" and "Gadget" admission tickets are from the 35th anniversary year.  Being one of the tickets is dated July 4th I have to mention that my parents LOVED being at Disneyland on the 4th of July. Record breaking attendance, humidity and long lines never kept them away.  They loved it there no matter how hot or crowded.  I definitely know where I got my love for Disney from.

Here are my finds:

This was an insert in the Souvenir Guide.

This is the back of the passport.  It was only $25.50 to spend a day in Disneyland in 1990.

I hope that you enjoyed my recent Disney find!. Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to hear why and how your love with anything Disney started.  Please feel free to share with a comment.  Have a magical day!!
